Totally agreed. I love everything hackthis has written, but figured everyone's probably read most things by her already. My favourite is probably the one you mentioned, or the alternate timeline 'Nate doesn't join the Marines' one!
There were quite a few recent AUs that were fab: the Brad/Ray cop AU and the vampire AU. :D
You are so right. I wanted that vampire au to never end, and am still pretending that was just chapter 1. For a small fandom we have been lucky to have so many excellent writers.
