Loved it! It's extremely interesting to know a little bit more about Godfather as just a private man. I believe this is the very first time I read about him at all.

Ooh, this is really good!! Btw, I'm writing a GK fic for apocabigbang and it also has something to do with the end of the world (hence apocabigbang duh) and people that are no... people anymore. ;) This reminded me of my story.
