A sad day for Pendleton....

Yesterday we lost some extrodinary soldiers. Mr. Adrian Stump and SGT Tane Baum were aboard aircraft 200 when they were struck down. Unfortunately, there were no survivors. "Stumpy" as we called him was a damn good pilot. He was with us here in Afghanistan where he flew his first real mission out of flight school. But he has damn good. He was so young and didn't deserve this. He was passionate about his job and did whatever took to get up in the air. He was a natural. He was the youngest, but he had the potential to be the best in my book. He is a friend I will never forget. SGT Tane Baum I didn't know as well aside from the military, but he was an awesome guy with an upbeat personality. He had a wife and 2 children and he is going to be missed greatly around here. That's all I have to say, I must get back to work. Please, if you live in Pendleton, pay your respects to these two indivuals at the funeral. We do not get to attend, but we will when we get back.
