what a weird ass set of results. am i politically confused, or have i got it down?
in other recent-ness:
i went to see keane and they were a-a-mazing. my friend was too short to see over the crowd though, so i tried picking her up and she kicked the girl in front of her. it was probably the only time she got a clear view of the stage... seats would've been nice.
sarah the elephant was there. she visited me outside of the girls bathroom. i don't usually choose to dwell near bathrooms of any type, but i also don't usually let girls go off by themselves in large crowds. it's not that i think they're helpless and fragile, i just don't trust anyone else.
brendan benson opened for keane. they were enjoyable, but the crowd disagreed. weird al crowds have been more vibrant. during sets we stepped outside for a break and were approached by an african-american street artist, who i swear had been visiting little ol' mary jane. i bought an interesting little... thing, off of him and he told us some jokes and then passed out. go figure.
a sonnet of mine got published. that was unexpected. maybe it says something of my writing ability, but i doubt it. highly. some people at certain points in their life just experience confusion and lapses of reason.
