Cinema time...once in a while!
In Paris for a few days, I took the chance to see Cabin in the woods.
Talking about it with levitatethis I realized that I came out of the cinema with mixed feelings. I'm so not the type who likes that kind of movie...really not...but I went for Joss Whedon and Drew Goddard and well...I still don't know what to think about.
This was the art of how to handle a parody of a horror film, with intelligence.
But not enough to win me over.
It was fun to see Amy Acker and Tom Lenk and Richard Jenkins, really good for the soul, they are just good. The humour was and always is the best thing that Joss gives us, IMO.
BUT the end wasn't a total surprise for me and I would have loved to be surprised.
I'd kill to know what you guys think of it!
