I'm so sorry, it seems that I can't stop myself these days!
I really wanted to say a word on this film. I watched it last weekend and it instantly took my heart, wrapped it warmly and ripped it out like no other film did since Brokeback Mountain.
It haunted me the whole weekend in a surprising way. I can't even begin to explain how.
Everything touched me and from the second the film was on, it took my breath away. I deeply love the way they shot it and I'm certainly in awe of the writing, every single word is accurate, strong, deep. And the emotion is never over the top. Colin Firth did such a brilliant job, I mean, just wow. The whole thing is just brilliant. The questions are heavy. The emotion is subtle and strong at the same time.
Well, it slapped me in the face. And today I did this.
