rejection letters and happy mail
the religiously hickish fellows in the lehigh admissions office sent me a rejection letter that arrived today, but i really dont care because of the other news. i got a letter from northeastern notifying me that i'd won an $11k a year scholarship thru their business program. honestly, i just applied there cause guidance told me to...ive never seen the college, and i kind of want to get out of state, but now i have to seriously consider this. regardless of what ends up happening, between elon and northeastern its becoming very unlikely that i will actually attend wake forest whether i am accepted or not, given finances. but that may be better - wake has a lovely campus, but then when people ask me why i like it so much, you know, i really dont have many good reasons beside it. it has a strong business program...then again, northeastern pushes a better internship-geared program whereas elon best suits my area of interest (and also better promotes work study)...and when finances are factored in, its not even close.
this is going to be a really difficult decision, and im afraid of making the wrong one..
in other news, we just got back from our scrimmage @ georgetown. the team played well, and i went 2-4 and played pretty well, but i also wish someone else would coach this team. lamothe is just too much sometimes.
well, the kids from needham arent back for another few hours, and i need a shower/something to do, so its itme for me to leave. adios.
