Dragon!John Fanart
This is totally wanderingsmith 's fault. Okay, maybe a little bit mine. Blame the damn plot bunnies. (Speaking of which...if anyone wants to write this AU, I'll love you forever and ever and ever.)
It started somewhere along the lines of:
wanderer: hey! how about dragons?? I mean they found atlantis.. couldn't they find dragons?
C-R: Oh god, now I want to write about Elizabeth the Dragon Rider. Except her Dragon would be John. And they'd constantly be arguing.
wanderer: rotflol, he'd make a cute dragon... teasingly glitering eyes, long shap teeth with smoke curling leisurely around them...
Which evolved into this:
"'Lizabeeeeeth. 'Lizabeeeeeth..."She groaned, rolling over and staring beseechingly up at the massive black canvas draped over her.
"'Lizabeth, we have drills today."
"Oh, wonderful."
"I know, huh!"
She finally raised her eyes, not surprised to see the black dragon beaming down at her even in her misery.
"You're the most annoying lizard I've ever met, do you know that?"
John rolled his eyes, a puff of smoke emitting from his nostrils.
"Well maybe if you hadn't insisted on listening to me sing all night we wouldn't have this problem."
"You're the one who's good enough at singing to make me want to!"
"It's a dragon thing, Lizzy."
"Don't call me that!"
And so, I give you dragon!John. Or...shapeshifting!John? Hm...*ponders* Anyway. Complete with Metallica lyrics...because that's what I was listening to while I was drawing it. Click to make bigger and shinier.
