I'd prefer to keep this reply to the point as to not humor the situation. First of all, it takes no balls to send an anonymous comment like that with the purpose to, in reality, humiliate and belittle another person. I state your intentions in this manner because it is contradictory for you to send criticism in those terms without demonstrating your own good will; in fact you aren't setting a better example either. basically, you don't coincide with what you say; your actions are instead contradictory to the self righteous mask you've decided to present. I won't take your position either, to tell you how to act or who to lecture would be doing the exact same thing, but allow me to give you a little piece of advice: social cliches like "if you don't have anything nice to say then don't say it at all" exist not for shits and giggles, but because they actually hold relevance to social etiquette. Sometimes we are not aware of what we are saying or how what we say sounds, keep that in mind. Also the behavior you just displayed is a very stereotypical manifestation of the ironically detached, pompous, self loathing North American image you also chose to invoke. So in end, it really is the same shit all around, it's just in a different pile.
p.s. Hopefully you're an accredited and highly acclaimed English scholar to make such ignorant comments about another's writing both stylistically and content based. Especially since you have not been forth coming with your own.
