I was looking through a magazine I've had for a while, and I came across a picture of The Byrds. David Crosby was in The Byrds. Somehow, I'd forgotten this, and it comes as a bit of a shock to me now and I'm realizing I like every band connected to CSNY. Well, that I know of, anyway. The Byrds, Buffalo Springfield, Crosby, Stills, Nash and, of course, Young... Really, they're quite an explosive combination. Destined, as it were. And while I LOVE Neil's solo work with a passion, I can't help wondering what would've happened if Neil had made more albums with CSN. Well, so long as none of his other work would be affected adversely. O_o And I wonder if each man would've had more of a name for himself, like Neil does now. By Crosby's own admission, Neil's more well-known than the entire band together. Obviously Neil's the catalyst, the wild card, the one who up and left. So I wonder, would they all have made such names for themselves if he had stayed with the band?
And this may only be shocking to me, but here's the pic of Crosby I found. No mustache! O_o
