I'm off to go see the first home game of the season in a little while. Should be a good one (hopefully). Well, it can't get much worse than last season, anyway.
This morning I got a letter from Somerfield asking me to attend a 'Lack of Flexibility Hearing' on Saturday morning, to discuss the fact that I can't do the new hours they gave me (because of college). That's fair enough, but what I don't appreciate are sentences such as: 'Please be advised that it is possible that you might be dismissed for breach of contract as a result of this hearing'. Friendly.
So, one day they're giving me certificates and badges for five years service, the next they're threatening to fire me. Suffice to say, I'm not amused.
