I sent a blurb into my college alumni magazine for the Class Notes section. Basically said life was good, and that we spent the summer redoing the porch and spent our time taking ballroom lessons. No biggie. (this is a SMALL college....there were about 250 in our class, 1000 at the college overall)
Hi Colz: Saw your piece in the Ha***** and was glad to hear that
your life has been "very, very good". I would have predicted that way
back in the 80s. You had class and balance back then and I'm sure
those qualities have improved over the years. . Peace -
Dr. K.
He was one of my academic advisors. I had two majors, so two advisors. He was a great professor. A former Catholic Priest who left the priesthood to become a family guy. Just an INTERESTING person.
And he remembers ME. Me. AND made the effort to send an email. As a point of reference, I was a freshman in college in 1985. That was a LOOONNNG time ago.
So that made me feel good.
Looking back, I really went to an exceptional college. I just didn't know it at the time.
