Flowers are blooming here
And it's 80 degrees. VERY weird. Pouring rain, of course, which is pretty much What We Do when we go on any kind of trip.
The air travel was as ok as air travel can be....never fun, but not horrid. Certainly not what those poor people in Denver had to deal with. The worst part was the traffic on the road from Tampa to here.
Had a nice evening. Fancy Dinner with the parents and sister, then an evening hanging out. Talking of deep things, and just enjoying ourselves. We are staying at my aunt and uncle's house, about 5 min from my parents'. Aunt and uncle have gone "home" to the Cleveland area for the holiday, and volunteered to let us use the house during our stay. Awesome, I must say. A fridge stocked with Diet Coke, homemade chocolate chip cookies, and my favorite cheerios. It's really quite wonderful. My plan for morning is to sleep! We have some cocktail party thing to go to in the late afternoon. And I must wrap presents.
I just want to chill! I hope we get some sun while we are here, but the warm temps and blooming flowers are certiainly nice!
