I'm gimped. First it was my right knee all messed up....I have no idea how....now I have something pinched that is giving me a pain behind my left ear...it hurts when I SWALLoW, for cryin' out loud! Thank goodness I have a massage on Monday....she'll fix me right up and un pinch me.
Weird how "mild" pain wreaks havoc. Kept waking me up. VERY annoying. Motrin isn't very helpful. perhaps I should take the last of my vicodin from the appendectomy?
Have a party today...for the skating team. I decided to make orzo w/ roasted veggies to take along. The coach, who is hosting, is making a turkey....so I thought this would work.
House is cleanish. A little laundry to do. Friday we go to FL for giftmas. The endless stair project is still going. AND I'm all hot to paint the bedroom.
Political tangent ahead....
A mere two or so weeks after he announced that he was going to run for pres, Evan Bayh said he's changed his mind. Which kind of bums me out, because IMO the Dems' best chance is someone like Bayh. A blue candidate from a red state. Indiana is SO republican, yet we elected him as our Dem governor twice. And I'm kind of concerned that the Dems are going to run Hillary. I TOTALLY think she could do the job. I would vote for her. But she is SO polarizing. There are people all over the country who froth at the mouth at the mere mention of her name. Why can the muckity mucks not see that? Plus...I think we need to be led by someone other than a Bush or a Clinton---just 'cuz.
So. I really should be doing.....something. Laundry, vacuum, something. But....whatever.....
