Dear void,
I haven't seen you in a long time. I'd been thinking that I'd outgrown you. I can pin-point the particular moment when my experiences, thoughts, beliefs started moving me on a path that meant new things outside of your influence on my life. There are still ways in which I think I've moved beyond, but I need to learn to reconcile that with the fact that all I want is to be the little girl again, curled up with you, sharing it all since you were always right.
