A friend of mine has informed me of a possible career option. if I go into criminology/criminal profiling the University of Detroit Mercy has a program where I could get an internship with the Detroit police department. If I go into criminology this would be an attractive option. Now, I'm not too keen on working in Detroit. However, it will probably be a desk job and I won't have to be out on the streets like a normal Detroit cop. As of now, it's only an option.
What do you guys think? If I like criminology should I go for this or keep looking for other options?
