S.O.S. - for my English/American friends!
My dear friends,
I'm here on my knees asking you a little favor.
As I recently said in other posts, I must do an exam in two weeks for entering a PhD program in Criminology. The course is very interesting and it's an international PhD, i.e. it will be hold entirely in English (lectures in English, tests in English and so on...)
The point is... It's been a while since I wrote an essay in English... more or less 5 years, if I remember well, and in the meanwhile I think I am become better in my spoken English (here I have to thank you guys!), but I fear I am not very good anymore as regards written stuff.
Anyway, I'm preparing a sort of presentation I have to do for the oral examination, presenting the project for my research.
Is there anyone here SO KIND to read it and correct my errors? I mean, I know it would be difficult to understand if you are not a criminology expert, but at least someone could give me some tips on the grammar... to write a scientific essay and to chat with someone on-line is not the same thing, I'll tell you...
I will be eternally grateful...
