Today my colleague told me about this program, and I was REALLY fascinated!
It's called Google Earth, and you can downloaded it here:
http://earth.google.com/
Through this, you can locate and see a satellite picture of every part of the world, even streets, monuments, restaurants...
I could see my town and my own house!
First, my home town, Bologna:
And then...my house! Follow the red arrow...
I felt SOOOO small!
By now, I feel so very tired... It's been three days since I last went outside. I stayed at home typing my thesis and studying... but I must say I'm quite satisfied of my work.
And (good news!)today my teacher asked me officially to join his research after my graduation... I was hoping that so much that now I nearly feel scared of believing it. But I'm very happy.
I dearly hope not to disappoint him.
