why are kids infested with diseases? recently it's been a sort of barfing plague. and usually it happens to someone in my group. usually in the dining hall. and then all of the other kids see it and scream and try to run away, threatening their own contributions, and the whole dining hall flees away from the sick kid, stepping on each other and knocking food onto the floor and pointing. then, as everyone watches with morbid curiousity, someone else escorts the sick kid to the nurse's station and i get to use that stuff that janitors use that absorbs stuff and clean it up. it's a real rush. and at the end of the day, when i come back from the nurse's station with another two vomitous clean-up kits under my arm and stash them in their special place in the janitor's closet, i think to myself, "nope, no, i really don't like cleaning up barf any more than i did yesterday..."
