Just so you know, I'm at my girlfriend's house right now, typing this thing. Thats right! For those of you who haven't heard yet, I'm finally somebody's boyfriend! WOOHOO! Its going to suck when I leave Tennessee, simply on the matter that I'll miss spending time with Heather, but I can technically partake in couples night! Jon, if I hang out with you on that night as originally planned, we'll have to get you a girlfriend. Hehe! Anyway, I couldn't be happier than I am right now! Shes sweet, funny, caring, intelligent, and so much more! On top of that, her family cracks me up! I have been laughing hysterically for hours every day!
How it happened:
On day one, we were talking about things while watching tv, and I decided that I wanted to cuddle, and we discussed our fears about distance. Ultimately, we said fuck it, and next thing I know, we're kissing.
Day two:
We made a trip to Wal-Mart, bought stuff, cuddled, I bought her the new Dixie Chicks cd (she was watching the video and mentioned plans to buy, so I surprised her). We also picked up Anthony, Heather's neighbor's grandson.
Dukesfest:
The damn autograph session was closed early due to "too many people wanting autographs!" Well, since everybody knows that the cast is there, of course we'll have 100% of the guests in line! Suddenly, I hear that the cast will be on stage singing, so I bulldozed my way to a great view, but was a tad late. I did see, however, Cooter singing and telling stories afterward, joined once by Sheriff Rosco. Also on stage was an Elvis impersonator. I saw K.I.T.T., and we have a couples pic with it. However, the interior was not modified at all, except for K.I.T.T.'s voice box. There were General Lees, Trucks and SUVs painted like GLs, Hazzard County police cars, and the blue charger from Smallville's Duke reunion. We then went to downtown Nashville, saw the "Batman Building," took a picture at Coyote Ugly, and went to the mall. The whole time, Heather's mom and neighbor were funnier than any comic duo you could possibly name! The ride back was a riot! We took forever getting home, because our nav crew consists of, as Heather puts it, a couple of whackjobs. We got McD's for the two young ones, and I bought Sonic for the rest of us. The McD's drive thru was quick, but the guy was scared shitless, as if his manager was Atilla the Hun! He was shaky from a bunch of prick customers. Those customers must've come from Sonic, because they had to kill the cows, the pigs, and the chickens, then they had to go back and get Ocean Water, so they went to the Indian Ocean for it or something! My blueberry cocoanut shlush pissed on me! You had to be there! Stuff I bought will be covered in my next entry.
Today:
Flea Market trip. I had a hassle involving a dvd, but a later stop corrected the problem. They weren't very organized.
Most commonly used phrase of the week:
"Get a room!"
I'm going to miss this place when my vacation is over. Heather is an AMAZING girlfriend!
To be continued...
