Does anyone know what the blue glow was in the "believe in me for twenty minutes" scene?

First of all, I thought it was a bit of JJ Abrams' Star Trek lens-flare. Then I figured it was a visualisation of the Time Lord/Jedi mind trick to make her believe him. I think we'll see that blue glow again next time he mind-tricks someone. :)

For reals he would! But only when he really had to. I don't think he'd be around at all if he wouldn't bend perception just a little.

In this case, though, he's telling the truth, so I don't think he mind-tricked Amy. It's a toss-up which of them has the best puppy-dog eyes, actually.

*giggles* There have been odder things to be patron saint of! Isn't Saint George patron of boy scouts and syphilis, among other things?

So far, so epic, and definitely a great opening sequence.

I, for one, was rather dubious about the hanging-out-of-the-TARDIS-above-London, because I'm old fashioned and a little bit against all of this James Bond sort of excitement. Maybe it was just because that's what they focused on in the trailers and I would've rather seen shiny new aliens. Action is fine, as long as there is plenty of science in my science fiction.

maybe other people saw/heard other Doctors? As far as I can tell, he was only noticeably channelling the Doctors that everyone's familiar with, but he was rather reminiscent of the 3rd Doctor when he stole the clothes. And he was more dopey and off-balance than after his last regeneration - more like the 5th Doctor who was so disoriented post-regeneration that the TARDIS sent him a wheelchair.
