LOL :D Finally someone, who can't stand Kate and isn't afraid to say it at loud :D That's what I love :D I really, really hate this character. Srsly, never, ever had I hate some character like that. And I was so happy, that in the end it was Juliet, who won James heart, because seeing him with Kate was so painful! Of course, like you said, we can't ignore their relationship, but I believe, that Juliet is *the one* for James and writers won't dare to create in a season 6 any situation, that may suggest, that Sawyer can turn back his feelings to Kate. It would be like the worst scenario ever and I can't even imagine anything like that...
From the end of S4, I knew something was going to happen with those two, but I thought it would be a beautiful angsty relationship, filled with bitterness and hurt. And when LaFleur happened, I was sort of shocked to see them so... loving.
Yes, it definitely was amazing to see them like that. After S4 has ended I thought it would be funny and interesting to see them in some kind of romantic situation, but to be honest I never really believe there will be a serious relationship for a lifetime like the one, they actually gave us. What's more, who would have thought, that Juliet can make a man like Sawyer - dark, sarcastic, selfish into someone like James - carrying, responsible and simply happy. This was the thing, that surprise me to most - how happy in a peaceful way James become with Juliet around him :) Finally some healthy and normal relationship in "Lost" ;)
