The slang "LOL" is so misleading. It doesn't even always mean a funny thing.
"lol" or "lol." just sounds like you're trying to end the conversation or the topic. I imagine you looking at me unamused with me.
"lolololol" or any variation of more than one looks like the above as well .
"LOL" yes you're showing genuine amusement?
