You have some gorgeous icons here. I love minimal (That one is just beautiful. I almost can't stop looking at it), first, AC5, 5, 6, 16, 19, 20, 23, 26, 27, 30, and 42 (I adore 42, actually).
It does amuse me to some degree that you and I chose each others' claims for claim steal. :D
Just wondering, are alt 8 and 50 the same?

Thank you so much! The Merlin icons are older, and mostly done for my Cenred RP journal, but still good. (I LOVED the way the minimal icon turned out! I'm typically not great at close crops, but that one seemed to work. I'm so glad you like it!)

Yes we did. I honestly am surprised I haven't done Sarah yet. I thought I had signed up to claim that episode, but apparently I changed my mind.
Understandable. Trying to post over 130 icons in one post is a draining experience. (The new 50 is pretty).

I can't STOP iconning her, to be honest. Emily is BEAUTIFUL as a redhead. You should do it! That ep is amazingly gorgeous and SO fun to icon. :D
Yeah...although, this is on the smaller side of a post for me. I'm used to doing about 150, I'm just chasing around a one-year-old these days, so my brain is drained by the end of the day. lol

Well, by icon challenges I was meaning 20in20s. So there are two new ones that I entered...character_draw and technique20in20 (They are both on round 1 or 2, so very new). I also do fringe20in20. castle20in20 may or may not be coming back. She seems to be planning to bring it back with the new season since it needs more participation. The last round of voting there has been open for like 3 months now since she is waiting for more votes ( ... )

Ah! Yeah, I was searching for icontests comms once I came back to LJ. There's not much at all. It seems like all of them are 20in20s these days. (I'm starting a plain old icontest for Revolution in a couple of weeks though. :D I'm waiting to hear if I'll have a co-mod in the meantime.) I'm tempted to try and sign up for the Fringe elite comm, too, but I'm not sure. I voted at the castle comm. maybe it'll help, :)

Oh gosh. I'm used to just tinkering. I am a graphic artist, so I just tinker when I'm bored. That's the best way to learn, too. I usually have about 4-10 alternates for a small batch. My big icon posts are mostly alternates. I just duplicate the icon in Photoshop and do something different until I'm happy with it. Lol.
I haven't seen Orphan Black, is it good?

Garage sales suck. They are so much work and you don't usually get out of them what you expect.
I just remembered some other icon things I do...fringe_epic, tellystills and dwstills(Well, I haven't actually done dwstills yet but I am contemplating it.) I am always tempted to apply for elite, but at the same time, I know my work isn't at the same level as the elites who have already been accepted and so it terrifies me. Thanks!
