Amazing Doctor Who s.8 battle with nightbulbs & marcasite!

I had the chance to battle with the amazing makers nightbulbs and marcasite on one of the most wonderful show Doctor Who!
We all picked caps from series 8 and here is the results!

I'm so happy to see this as a post and to be able to comment on it! Your set is amazing, I've been wanting to pick faves since you sent it to me, lol. So here we go. ♥



I love the colour scheme, and the cloud of fragmented text behind Clara give such a great mood to this icon, it's like we're inside her head and it fits the cap so well!


I didn't know what to do with this cap, haha. And your icon here just rocks! Love the crop, soft lighting and text, so emotional!


I think you did great with this one! The background is dream-like and fun, and there's the serious expression of Clara that gives the icon some kind of double meaning - I love this!


This is GENIUS. I went 'wow!' when I saw it. First, the blue/yellow colour scheme is excellent, and I just love how you took the cap and made something so unexpected out of it! The background Missy + the ropes...it's scary and fresh at the same time which is just brilliant!


I love the colouring and contrast here so much! I generally admire your use of contrast a lot, and this is a perfect example, lovely icon!

I also really love the background of your Missy icon! I'm very happy you requested this battle because this has been lovely and a lot of fun and we should do it again some time! :)

Sorry for this super super late answer but I really wanted to thank you for your amazing comment, I'm really glad you liked these! Especially that 2nd one and that stupid cap, lol I'm sorry for picking it, it was a pain to use! ;)
