I dunno about the move to Dreamwidth, to be quite honest. I might be on hiatus here, but I am still so hooked on everything being organized and solidified here, and I don't think that Dreamwidth is active as many may think. Thus, I don't think moving is a good idea.

As I probably will be on hiatus for a bit longer (and might be losing more free time to work and summer courses), I am sad to say I'll miss many of these events, but I can't wait to see what changes as I come back! :)

Can't wait to see the impact of the extra donations and the ability to donate to two scrapbooks! :D

I am a big advocate of moving to DW purely from a functionality perspective. It's important to realize that the journal culture LJ and DW represent is pretty old at this point, and has largely been replaced with micro-blogging sources like Twitter and Plurk. So the old friends list activity of a few years back isn't going to happen anywhere.

But I do know that pretty much any 'reputable' RP on LJ has moved over to DW, and that community is very much alive. If nothing else, DW is a far more stable platform. Lots of our players have DW account, but I don't see anyone being required to move their LJ-hosted posts, either. DW works the way LJ did before it made a lot of stupid changes. I'm really all for it.

Yes, yes and yes. Please consider moving to dreamwidth. After livejournal made those huge changes in 2011 everyone had moved over and is still steadily moving over. There just isn't a huge community here on livejournal anymore, and you'd be getting a lot more people wanting to join colors because it's on a more easily accessible and functioning website. As someone else said, Dreamwidth is also a far more fully functioning website. The admins are always accepting community feedback for improvements, they're friendly, and the community now is huge. I think it'd be a good idea from your standpoint, and like someone else had said as well, a lot of people already have a DW account that they can use if there is a migration. It's entirely up to your choice, but from my perspective having to go back and forth between dreamwidth and livejournal for colors can sometimes be a hassle, even if i enjoy the tcg itself.

thank you for everything so far, i look forward to what the changes bring us!

Colors is one of the only reasons that I still have a presence on LJ. I would definitely support moving to DW.

I would support moving to DW solely for the reason that it's way less buggy, commenting, thanlj. :)
