Okay while this game does sound interesting in theory it also sounds really inconvenient. People would have to collect quite a bit of cards just to complete these tasks and in reality that's not all that easy. People are already trying to figure out what cards they get from the other games and what not to trade for cards they need for their deck masteries and portfolios but now on top of that their supposed to try and worry about obtaining more specific cards just to meet the requirements for the game? Its even more inconvenient for someone if their not actually collecting any of the decks mentioned because then they have to try to get cards on top of their own and on top of that they have to sit on them for a month. There is also the fact that rewards wise they only get 9 cards and 2 crayons and considering what people would have to do and sacrifice just to meet the requirements of the game that doesn't really seem like enough. They would have to collect much more than that just to be able to complete all the tasks.

I love the idea of new games and with all the new decks I certainly agree that having some more games is a great idea. I just don't think that this game idea is ideally workable for the tcg.

I do agree with this in a way. It does seem like collecting 30+ cards to earn less then ten potentially can be difficult, especially since you have to keep the cards around for an entire month without being able to trade them. It wouldn't be all that inconvenient if the card totals were less, but as it stands this seems a little bit clumped together... and definitely impossible for newer members.

I don't think it's completely unworkable though. Maybe there should be more quests that don't involve card collecting? (Such as, completing 2 sketchpads in this month, etc.)

I also think this would almost work better if you got individual rewards for each quest, rather than having to complete a certain amount. For example, the red quest, you could get two random cards for collecting 3(?) redheaded characters. You could make the rewards small for individual quests, but offer bonuses to people who complete all of them.

The only other thing I would suggest for this game is, since it's a huge wall of text the way it is, you use a little bit of HTML to make it prettier, like colored text and such. Also, separating the quests into separate paragraphs would be good! I'll come over and help you with it if you want *o*

Some pretty HTML would be nice. This is a bit hard to read.

And the point of tasks was to have variation (other than collecting cards), which hopefully will be seen in the next one.

We're reworking it to have a bit more variation now (and also to make it a little easier). I hope that's okay...

I totally agree with this, not to mention it's going to get exceedingly difficult for people to find said cards if everybody is collecting them for this; it will also inhibit people who are actually collecting them from getting them. Not to mention it would cost you a lot more than nine cards and two crayons to get the cards you'd need, when you could be using them to actually increase your portfolio... not just add nine cards to your trade pile and hope you get two crayons that would be useful to you.

It's a great idea in theory, but not when it's actually put to work.

Um yeah, I immediately thought how much of a pain in the ever-loving butt it's gonna be to collect burgers now, myself. It'd be one thing if you're going to say "as long as they've come into your pile or left you during this month it's fine," but sitting on them for that long is just WOW.

Not to mention, the fact that you're collecting these cards when you don't even want them is really not a fashionable idea at all. Who wants those uggo cards you don't even want to collect sitting in a pile not even labeled "trading"? lol

If you could make the minimum of 5 needed to get cards at all from this game NOT card collecting related, that would probably be best. So maybe two art and two fiction challenges, but with different specific situations! That right there takes up 4. Red is relatively easy enough, Orange and Green are intermediate level of difficulty to collect (even if Orange is pretty presumptuous that people would wish to collect 5 different Ace Attorney decks at all), Blue is in direct conflict with the others (saying they must be the same number, which only produces more unrelated/unwanted card grabbing), and Yellow and Brown are just crazy hard, even with possible overlap with other requirements.

I love the fact that there are more non-knowledge based games, but even with the output involved in this game, I feel it's probably not worth it.

Did the mods simply not see my game suggestions? I never received a response and was a little disappointed... and now I'm even questioning my worth in posting it...

Everything has been reworked now to be a little bit easier. There are less tasks that have to do with collecting cards, and the ones that are there are a little bit easier... so hopefully it'll be better for both the people who are doing the tasks, as well as the people who are actually collecting the decks.

The prizes are a bit better too. If you have any more suggestions, please let us know~
