In the neighbourhood of forever taking things far too seriously, the only anime/manga/game universe I've ever thought would be worthwhile to live in is the Pokémon one, and as a result, I'd quite happily be Steven Stone for a day. I think it'd be nice to live the way he seems to, gliding all over the world on his Metagross and collecting stuff of his interest. Anyone who has watched the series in question is probably going to be disquieted by me after this answer, hahaha, but I'm going to be Drosselmeyer from Princess Tutu for the day! I'll try not to talk about anything too spoilery in regards to my reasoning, but I've always had a great fascination with and interest in stories and story-telling. To exist outside the fabric of realities, to be able to influence and observe, to occasionally even interact with the world and its inhabitants before sitting back to view the results? That just sounds magnificent to me. My only regret is that I don't think a day would be long enough to watch everything unfold! But then, I'm not convinced time passes in any normal manner in that distorted kingdom of puppets and mechanisms Drosselmeyer calls home...

I'd love to be Usagi from Sailor Moon for a day! Or, well, any magical girl from a magical girl series, but Sailor Moon has relatively speaking little suffering until the end-of-the-season gutpunches. But I'd just like to be a magical girl for once to see what it's like, it seems like fun!

God, most anime characters lives (especially anime characters I really love) stink, so I don't think I'd really want to be anyone... Maybe I'd like to switch places with Medaka from Medaka Box for a day? After all, she's really pretty, well liked and mega strong, even if her life is full of problems, so who doesn't want that?
