Oh boy, I think I've done this before, but with novel characters. FTR, I'll be referring to D&D classes because they make the most sense to me and are classic RPG classes. I take all things too seriously! That said:
Fighter: Durand from Le Chevalier D'Eon. Durand uses two-weapon fighting and generally dishes out plenty of damage, and the fighter's capacity for feats represents his high level of evasive manoeuvres.
Sorceror: Nue from Karas. Nue actually uses guns as his weapons but he is a Mikura, which means he has innate skills just like a sorceror. He's also a bit unstable, which plays into my personal conviction that sorcerors are not often mentally sound.
Rogue: Haji from Blood+. Haji's extremely versatile in how he performs combat and also does not require rest or sustenance, which would allow him to operate as a skills-based rogue with plenty of time to hone his skills. He also makes use of silver daggers-a rogue weapon of choice-when unable to use his larger weapon.
Cleric: Sakura from Cardcaptor Sakura. Sakura has a wide

WELL, let's see. My white mage is going to be Ahiru from Princess Tutu. Well, more specifically Princess Tutu herself I suppose, although Ahiru encapsulates the spirit of that! Ahiru heals hearts (and not just Mytho's!), that is totally just like healing HP and darn it she is just a beautiful person and a darling okay it's fine Ahiru is a great choice shush

Knight: How abouuuuut Juliet from Romeo x Juliet because female swordsman are bosses.
Summoner: N from Pokemon. He'd probably think summoning was the coolest thing ever too, since he could ask his Pokemon friends for help without actually having to capture them.
Mage: Cure Sunshine from Heartcatch Precure. Why aren't there many magical girl!mages in RPGs anyway?
Medic: Tony Tony Chopper, because I love him. Also, he has strong attack capabilities for a healer and every team needs an adorable mascot.
oooh fun! let's see, since i've been playing Fire Emblem lately.. 1. General - Rider from Fate/Zero because he does look like the sort who can tank it out on the front line, it'll be great if he could bring his mobility along too. 2. Bishop - Yuuko Ichihara from xxxHolic. Definitely looks like she's loaded with a long ass MP bar. 3. Paladin - Weird ass decision but I shall make Midorima Shintarou from Kuroko no Basuke my paladin because - Takao shall be his horse! his shots will never miss and because of his overprotective of his hands, the enemy shall not touch him either. 4. Lord - There is always the pain in the ass lord that has to be in the party regardless. Picking Kuran Kaname from Vampire for this position because he has the ~pain in the ass~ qualification due to his overly cryptic-ness.
i think this entire party might collapse before even setting out on a quest because of their overly conflicting personalities, LOL. :x
Fighter: Phantom Miria from Claymore, I just love the way she fights and later on in the series how she manages the take control. Bwaah Don’t want to spoil too much.
Thief: Bossun from Sket Dance, I actually have a character with this name for this class, as for an explanation. I really just have none because it just fits him in every way I can think of.
Magic: Momiji Binboda from Binbougami ga! It really was just the first thing that popped in my find, with all the strange objects she uses in the serie. It makes me laugh right now xD
Cleric: Kobato Hanato from Kobato, because everyone just loves her and she is really trying hard to heal everyone’s hart!
I just looked back at my choices and this team is really screwed xD
