Kurocchi hold her thumb up when she found him in his room still holding his cellphone. “Mission complete.”
“Lucky! I wasn’t sure how much longer I could hold dad on the phone, he was staring to grow suspicious about the phone call.”
“Well no worries we are going to get our laughs tonight.”

The house was now filled with the delicious smell that came from the oven, the turkey was cooking up nicely and Midorin and Tobi had arrived already. Both Gin and the twins were dressed up in their best cloths and sat at the table with their guest. It didn’t take long for the others to arrive. To everyone’s surprise Aoi who wasn’t very socially had showed up.

With everyone there everything was complete, the three had managed to get everything done just in time before the first guest had arrived. The twins were serving the guest their drink and everything went like any other thanksgiving evening. Everyone was sitting at the table quietly chatting with each other heaving fun.

But it all soon changed when the food including turkey was brought to the table. The twins were having a hard time not to laugh. This time it was Akai’s turn to cut up the turkey, everyone watched in silence as Akai sliced the first piece of the turkey, but instead of a smooth cutting sounds there were some loud cracks as Akai was cutting through the stuffing’s of the turkey.

“I hope you didn’t put one of your experiments in there.” Akai spoke jokingly as he now split open the turkey. And if the room could even grow more silence it was happing now. “You cooked up a pregnant turkey!” One of the twins yelled, while the other was trying to look serious.

Everyone just stared at the turkey. “How could you do this!” Kou yelled. “This is not okay! That poor animal.” The older ones were keeping quiet, they knew a turkey laid eggs but they weren’t sure if this was some kind of sick joke from Gin. “Yes that is right!” Mikan spoke.

Gin looked strange at the turkey, than at the twins who were clearly heaving trouble keeping their laughs in. He sighed in relief, that he actually didn’t had make a mistake in cooking up the wrong turkey.

“Uhm guys, you know that turkey lay eggs right.” Midorin spoke.
“I was thinking the same.” Tobi added.
At this points the twins couldn’t keep their laughs up anymore and started out laughing out loud. “It is just a chicken.” They managed to say.

So you guys are the culprits afteral.” Gin spoke. “I thought something was off this afternoon, but I swept it away because I thought it was just my mind playing tricks on me.” The twins tried to speak but they couldn’t stop laughing, while the others didn’t seem to like their little the joke at all.

This all was too much for Aoi, he hadn’t said a word the whole evening and just had simply been listening to everyone. He stood up which drew everyone attention, he picked up the knife Akai had put down and cut some of the turkey and sad down. “Tastes good.” He spoke while everyone still looked at him.

The twins had stopped laughing and Tobi had followed Aoi example and took a piece of the turkey, soon everyone followed and the piece was returned again and their thanksgiving dinner was enjoyed the rest of the evening.
