So, I guess the Adderall is working, or it's having a placebo effect, I've done more schoolwork in the past two days than I've done the entire time I've been paying for it. That's really sad.
All in all, I have completed five chapter in the Introduction to Animal Care book. Let me tell you, that book is full of lies. The whole chapter on the make up and layout of a Veterinary Practice is just one big bought of ridiculousness. I have never even heard of a 'small animal practice' being that elaborate, other than corporate hospitals. They must have been in fairyland when they found this clinic. It specifies that employees should have a ~lounge.~ How fancy! I wish I had one at my clinic, I eat my lunch on the exam table. And that all clinics offer some kind of grooming. We offer none at all. Nor do we do boarding. Also, that a clinic should have three separate rooms for surgery, as follows: preparation, actual surgery, and recovery. We do all of that in one room and the doctor's office combined. Honestly now. What do they think, that all Vet's a rich and made of money? Ugh. Also, that the clinics have kennels in separated by species, in their own separate rooms. The only room we have to separate inpatients are contagious and noncontagious. Again I say, lies!
Anyway, besides that, not a whole lot going on. I spent so much time working on school work and working on that drawing that I forgot to put on clothes other than pajamas. I did that this morning. I like feeling more motivated. It just.. helps a lot, you know, in getting things done. Maybe now I'll actually get the bathroom painted, my room rearranged and painted, and unpack the spare bedroom of all our shit that's been in there for.. since we moved in together. HORRAY!
