C'est tout a fait normal

Okay. So my brother comes home Wednesday circa 1am. He drove down from Tallahassee [he goes to FSU]. I was asleep. I wake up at 5.30 to get ready for school. I leave the house at about 6.30 to catch the bus. Hes asleep and I dont see him.
School. Lots o' homework for this break. The concept of extra days off is all but lost to teachers, I think. I didnt have any hope for my French teachers, seeing as 1)they cant pronounce Thanksgiving [Sunks-gee-vee-ingeu] and 2)they dont care. But my English and AP Euro teachers. I mean, come on! The only teachers that didnt gimme homework were the Math teacher [we didnt have a class because we went to see the "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown" production which was, by the way, REALLY REALLY good -- and I HATE plays, so I'm not lying] and the Chemistry treacher [he hasnt been here for our class for DAYS because of his pneumonia]. But whatever. Back to what I was talking about. Wednesday afternoon Manon and I go to Lilis house [sans Etienne, damn him] for that Seignot project.
My dad [damn him, too] came to pick me up at about 7.30 [SORRY LILI!] and whos in the car? Yes, my older brother. Word exanged between us: 0. Looks exchanged between us: 0. We get home. Matt is in BIGTIME trouble. Why? His report card. Now youre thinking, didnt report cards come out like a month ago? Answer: Yes. So where was it? Hiding in his bookbag. Why? 3 Bs and 3 Cs. Yes, a bad thing to my parents. He fooled my mom for that long, but my dad isnt fooled that easily plus Matt is a VERY bad liar] so when he found out that he hadnt showed it yet, he knew something was up. [His exact words: "Somethings fishy here."] Now, its not that bad that he got those grades. Its the fact that he lied and got caught. The philosophy between us [Matt and I] and my dad is: If you lie, dont get caught and make sure that you have a way outta your lie. Matt broke the two rules. So hes screwed. No TV, computer, phone, CD player, electronics, and no going out for him until further notice. Which means almost never. This is the first time in my family that anyone has ever been punished/grounded. Its usually a lecture. It used to be a spanking [yeah, I say spanking because "beating" sounds like child abuse, and it wasnt] but we evolved from that a long time ago. But anyway, hes screwed. He didnt even get to go to Ritchies house yesterday. Ah, well.
Yesterday, I got my hair straightened. What a bitch. Its not gonna last long. But it looks nice. And Mitch came over to eat. Good food. I love my moms lasagna. Anyway my dad and my brothers went out yesterday and when they came home, my older brother didnt even step into the house before he left [with his car] and he hasnt come home since. My dad doesnt care. Matt doesnt care. I dont care. But my mother wants to freak out. She wants to because shes his mother, and thats what mothers do. She cant, though, because he sucks and she knows it. So shes caught in between caring and not caring. So me, being the most hated sister ever, told her to shut up, but in nicer terms [because you dont say shut up to your mom -- thats just wrong] so it came out something like: "Hes 19, hes got his car, hes only staying til Friday, and hes gonna go see his friends that he left behind in Miami -- which is alotta people -- so stop caring". And it worked. Booyah!

And now she bitching about my dad again. And I need to get ready to go to Manons house. So bye-bye.

PS I love Eminem and I love his new CD.
PPS I like Simple Plans new CD too.
PPPS "Mockingbird" - Eminem .... officially my favorite song to his daughter. What a beautiful song. AH!
