Friday Saturday Sunday...

I don't really have too much to say about the weekend, it was busy but not too busy, just perfect, that way I don't feel like I'm completely wasting my free time but I'm not going crazy either.

As most of my weekends seem to start off lately, I wanted to go to the movies. Julia was already going to hang out with Dominick and earlier Christine said that she wanted to go to see Lords of Dogtown, which came out of Friday, and I was kind of interested in seeing it too so i recruited Christine to come with me. So then Christine called Anais to see if maybe she wanted to come and Victoria was with Anais so now Victoria and Anais were coming along with Christine and I. Then someone called Claudia too and Claudia was added onto the list. While all of this was going on, I'm trying to convince Sam to come with us because he was in a bad mood and he needed to be taken out, but he didn't want to go anywhere, he just wanted to sit aounrd and mope at home, sometimes people just don't know what's good for them. Then Christine remembered that she was having dinner with her Mom, Mike, Eileen, and Justin so that knocked her off the list. Then when Victoria went home from Anais' to get ready to come back out to the movies her Mom put her in a bad mood, as of now she was my transportation to and from the movies and she says that she can get me there but not home and then then she decided that she didn't want to go at all, when she told me that she couldn't give me a ride home I had left a message on Claudia's cell phone asking if she could give me a ride home. Now Sam is going back and forth between whether or not he wants to come and when he found out that now we didn't have a ride, he said he would, he's such a good guy, but I didn't want him to come just because of us, I only wanted him to come if he wanted too. By now it's a little after 7:00 and the movie was starting at 7:40 so I figure I'm not going anywhere and put on pajamas, a little bummed out I'll admit. Then the phone rings. And it's Claudia! She told me that she and Anais were still going and that she could give me a ride there and back, I didn't even have to give her dirrections! So when we got to the mall it was 5 minutes before the movie was starting and as I could have guessed, the movie was sold out. So instead we took a chance with The Longest Yard, which I didn't have very high expectations for so I was suprised that I was actually laughing out loud and that it wasn't a complete waste of my time, but I guess nothing is a waste of time with Anais and Claudia, hahah. After the movie ended we just roamed around the mall for an hour or so, all of the stores were closed so there wasn't much to do but we just talked and talked and talked and laughed and talked. I had a really good time. So that was the long version of Friday night.

On Saturday I went thrifting in Nyack with Victoria and I purchased:
1) The most gorgeous dress for formal for $18.00 (With Victoria's money, I owe her.)
2) An Armani Exchange T-Shirt which I had to get because it was $1.00 in a thrift shop.
3) A short sleeved, silk, peach sweater for, I don't know, about $2.00 I guess.
4) An Indian type bag for $4.00 which I regret buying because it's kind of fucked up and it says some name that I can't pronounce on it, and then my aunt gave me this beautiful bag which I didn't even realize was Coach, thank god it's not displayed obnoxiously all over the bag.
5) A sea green, v-neck vest with 4 white pinstripes for $2.00.
6) Two white beaded neckalces, $1.00 each.
7) A bright colored mug with cats on it for 50 cents.
8) A Native American type painting for 50 cents.
9) A free book that I grabbed on my way out, it looks horrible.
10) A purple tank top for about $1.00.
I'm sure there are other things but you really don't need to know, and I'm sure you don't really care about every little thing that I bought. But incase you do, we also bought salad pizza from Pizza Bistro, which is fucking amazing pizza that everyone should spend $1.50 on before they die, or next time they're in Nyack. Unfortunately I only have two pictures because someone is rediculously camera shy.

Then when I came home from Nyack my Mom was alread home from work so she took me to get Catch-22, which I need for an English report that there's no fucking way I'm going to finish by next Monday and which I should probably be working on now instead of telling you every detail of my weekends, but oh well, we choose how we spend our time. After I got Catch-22 and my Mom looked for a CD that she wanted but wasn't willing to pay $21.00 for, I ended up burning it for her anyway, we went out and got Mexican food.

Then on Sunday I wanted to go to the beach but my Mom said the only way would be to get up early because EVERYONE would be going to the beach, so I forgot about that and instead we went to my Aunt's pool. But before that I wanted to go to the Gaga Art Festival, and so I went with my Mom and my Aunt Trish. And Here are some pictures from it:

Good art + free wine.

Wonderful weekend.
