Hey guys, I'm new to Livejournal so I hope I'm doing this correctly!

Program I'm using: Paint Shop Pro 7/Photoshop Elements 9 (but I'm fine with any translatable tutorial, as long as there's so selective colour involved)

Example of the coloring I want to learn how to make + credit to the maker:

coloring: brownish, type: stock, coloring: yellowish, program: paint shop pro 7, coloring: muted/faded, coloring: saturated, coloring: retro/vintage, coloring: pinkish, program: photoshop elements, coloring: bright

This is my result. I use photoshop but I didn't use selective coloring. So I hope this is translatable.

- I first made a curves layer to make the image brighter
The first point was set to 79, 48 and another one to 222, 197 to give the image more contrast. But I say just play with the settings
- Color balance layer:
Midtones: +50, -17, -5
Shadows: -13, -8, -3
Highlights: -6, -5, -5
- Channel mixer layer:
Red: +100, -5, +5
Green: -5, +100, -7
Blue: -16, +3, +100
- Color balance layer:
Midtones: +10, +3, +13
Shadows: -8, -3, +1
- Hue/saturation: +10

And that was it
