*whew*
So, I'm back from a jam-packed, fun-filled week of Disneyland and Yaoi-con. No pictures of yet, just a general "yay! I'm home, but that was so much fun!" moment. I swear I did next to nothing today and simply /recovered/. But it really was a great time and I have a new anime obsession, thanks to muse_neko: Tiger & Bunny! OMG, in love!
I spent way too much money, but I don't regret a single purchase and I can't wait to frame and hang my new artwork and posters. And I don't see an end to my obsessive manga buying behavior, either (says the Amazon e-mail notice that alerts me to my latest shipment *innocent whistle*). Yaoi-con only renews my love for manga, anime, BL and, of course, my wonderful fellow fen!
Though, Ycon did serve to remind me how old school I am. Alas....there were con-goers there who didn't know what Yami no Matusuei was. Tsk. And while I did manage to sell all my Slam Dunk, Mirage of Blaze and Bronze doujinshi at the Swap Meet, it was met with a fair amount of 'bwah?' by the young'ns. Tsk tsk.
There was only one Duo cosplayer that I saw. Tsk, tsk, tsk. However, it was part of a group of Preventers cosplayers, which was very cool, so I think that made up for it.
Ah, Yaoi-con, I shall not grow tired of you, I think. ^_____^
