For some reason, though, the pictures don't show up on my journal, but I did everything...maybe it's just me?

Have you changed the image link to your own link? You need to upload those image to your own server.

I'm pretty sure I'm putting everything in right, and I just tried to put it in twice, and it still does not show the pictures.

Then try setting up the moontheme using the newer method, by setting up in the custom layout page. The settings I put up here is quite old, might not be working.
