Yes, I am procrastinating. But this time it's because my brain hurts hurts HURTS. Thank you TOMAS and your World Lit class. You know, I do like this class, it's the first time I've really really loved and enjoyed writing a 5 page paper every week. it's kind of the idea of going against traditions and being unconventional in every aspect of your life. tomas always says "coming out of the shell society put around you." but theres more to it. i dont know, something like that.

that's what i would say too. most fo my class wants to argue about "being different" because it seems like the right thing to do. completely regardless fo the fact that the only reason most of them are in that class is to satisfy a degree requirement of some sort.
but i guess it all follows the ideas of emerson... if you can suffer through the language its always interesting.
our class goes on and on about accepting other cultures and then looking back on your own, there's only so many ways you can say that before it gets way too old. i want to talk about emerson and nature... etc... *shrug* lol

thats pretty weird.. my english class is crazy. we do alot of group writing assignments. it's very boring, because i cant really write how i want to because i'm working with 3 other people.
southwestern does ALOT of culture stuff.!!
