So i've been snowboarding for eight years. That makes me a little bit sad because i really don't have eight years worth of skills.
I'm just going to go ahead and blame it on my gender, though.
Sorry, feminists!
I blame everything on my gender. But i guess the reality of the matter is that i probably just suck, personally.

You know what's/who's really funny? Stereotypical extreme sports dudes. You know, like classic ski bums, or surfers or something, the guys that are always traveling around and taking long backcountry skiing/hiking/climbing/rafting trips. A lot of them seem to usually carry all their possesions in their Subaru. I can't imagine most of them having homes, so they must either live in tents in the forest all the time, or they just stay with friends for a few weeks at a time.
The opinion i generally express on those type of people is that they suck. But i decided i like them. Really, they're completely harmless, endlessly amusing and often times very friendly and fun to be around.
Anyway, anyone who perfectly fits a stereotype is really, really funny (just before they become immensely irritating).
But i guess i'm thinking of the hippie type extreme sports/ski bum guy. There's also the slightly more irritating fashionable, 'cool' and/or badass extreme sports guy. They're usually younger, richer, and do more drugs, i think. But when i really think about it, they're not so bad either.
It's really funny that i can't take those people seriously at all. Not even a tiny little bit. I don't consider them to be real. I view them as nothing more than fake characters. It's like they exist only for amusement and entertainment.
In reality, i guess they're people too. I should open my mind and be more... something.
