Holy shit. Four months of working my ass off finally payed off.
Thanks to everyone who came out to the opening of the Community Trees last night, I was happy to see so many familiar faces. I'm sorry I didn't really get to talk to a whole lot of you, being part of the project and Mike's apprentice I had to spend most of my time talking to the "art people." But I had a good time and I hope everyone that went did too.
For those of you who didn't get to see it, you still should! They're there permanently so it's not like you're going to miss them.
Now it's time to take a small breather before we jump into the IFCC project! (Interstate Firehouse Cultural Center.) We're doing a mammoth of a public art piece for them as well, but luckily there is only one of these instead of eight trees!
