Jobless (for now)
So after roughly a month in my first job, I filed my resignation.
I resigned because I got accepted for an MT program and we're starting our training on the 27th. I've always wanted to work for a telecommunications company and I got what I wanted. I hope that this is the right career path for me, and I'm really happy that I've gotten a job with a fast track. I'm really going to miss my old officemates (but not the work, I really don't think it's the right industry for me). So I have roughly a week left to finish my pre-employment requirements, then it's off to Batangas with boyfriend and friends! :D No, I won't talk about "work" all the time and sound like an old person.
Last night was EJ's sister's debut (Retro-themed, but I was a hippie because it was easier to dress like one, and I could use the clothes for summer) and because boyfriend wanted to play a set, his band invited me to sing 5 songs and I've never done that unless it was on the karaoke. We practiced last week and they have named the band "The Thunderbolts" because it was retro, and because of my previous e-mail address which they still found funny. Last night, when the debut was about to start, I had the most splitting headache ever. Talk about wrong timing! Have you ever been nauseous because of pain? I have. While I was singing. Good thing the whole set was still quite decent. I literally puked after. Disgusting. I felt a lot better after a really short nap and some painkiller. I actually miss playing and/or watching gigs. I don't have a band anymore, and I rarely play at home. I hope I get to go watch more music sometime, or even just play a song for EJ's band. :)

Anyway, here's a neat article sent to me by a former colleague, and I'm hoping I can do this someday to relieve my stress levels (which I think will be pretty high in a few weeks' time).

I really, desperately want to go to the beach soon. It's like I never have time anymore. :( I also want to meet up with my DLSU friends and just hang out. I miss Pops :(
