(no subject)
...I can't believe that just happened. I had a very, very long journal entry about the MTV VMA's tonight and I pressed some damn button and the browswer took me back to the previous page I was at. So I lost it all. I lost lots and lots of typing. I think I spent an hour on that. Shall I do it again? Yeah, I think I remember everything I had to say. Okay, anyway, I was watching the Video Music Awards tonight. I have somethings to comment about. (NOTE: Not all of these names will be spelled correctly.)
Things I was happy about:
--Missy Elliot and Ciara received the Best Dance Video award. Go them! They even had that Tommy Lee guy in their video and a jeep. They deserved that reward, anyway, and I didn't see any of the other nominees.
--Ludacris is cool. XD He won some sort of VMA, but I forget which one.
--Kanye West and Jamie Fox did their Gold Digger song, which is my favorite song and video period right now. I wonder if they blew real money into the audience--heck, why not?!
--R. Kelley made an appearance with that Locked in the Closet chronical/song and I enjoyed making fun ot it very much so.
Things I was unhappy about:
--My Chemical Romance didn't win any rewards. They deserved the MTV2 award more than Fall Out Boy--even the hunched over guy said so! And The Killers beat them too?! yuck...after my next comment you'll know why.
--I can sing better than Brandon Flower(s?) from the Killers. He was prancing about on the stage all robot-ish and singing really--baaad. o__o I was thoroughly disappointed, put the TV on mute, and sung Mr. Brightside myself.
Other Noteworthy things:
--Hilary Duff is...I hate her. I wish Lindsey Lohan would bite her head off--and I don't really like Miss. Lohan either. Hilary Duff had this really fake tan on and it looks like she slimmed down...but her arms were still big and fat.
--Snoop Dog is stylin'! Or else they wouldn't have gave him the role of Huggy Bear on Starsky and Hutch! (I adore him for doing that movie now.) Yeaah buddy! Anyway, he and some stand-up comedian who proved to be very uncomedian-like were announcing something and this nameless fat head cuts Huggy Bear off when they are about to announce something.. Snooooooooooooo-oop! just pulled back, and pursed his lips and looked really pissed off. I would be too.
I think that's it. There was something about the Gorillaz winning too but I don't feel like writing it over again.
So, who actually read all of that? I apologize, for I am high tonight on the fact I've finished my summer reading and essays. Sadly school starts on Tuesday. I want to cry. But I shall be off to bed, because I need sleep. And according to recent polls, sleep is good. 'Night. <3
