Yes! They are so much better than the actual TV show and that is saying a lot because it has that man in it. I HIGHLY recommend reading the books, they are EXCELLENT!

I have to agree with this! I am reading book 5 at the moment and they are so much better than the show!! But, I have to thank True Blood for the visual of Alexander every time Eric is mentioned in the books. :D
