So, I'm standing in Dalaran yesterday, having just hit 79 and doing some work on my tailoring and enchanting, and I get a tell from a 75 paladin, asking me if I'll port him to Shattrath for 3 gold. Being the kind (and inherently lazy) soul that I am, I politely tell him that there are free portals up to all major cities in the Silver Enclave. I get no response, but a minute later I get the message telling me that he's trying to invite me to a group, but I can't accept because I'm already grouped (with Chris). I have Chris pass me leader so I can invite him, thinking "okay, if he really wants to waste his gold, who am I to argue?" So I try to invite him, and discover that for my efforts... the asshole has put me on ignore.
Lesson of the day: don't be nice to people, just take their money and move on.
