Let me tell you a little something about Mummy Marathon.
There are six peaks. It is about 19 miles. The first three peaks take about 3 hours. The fourth and fifth take about three hours each. The final peak is supposedly shorter, but my sources have failed to ever make it to the sixth peak. So who knows really?
My friends who attempted it started at midnight the night before, but had to return midday the next day because people were getting sick and vomitting.
This is one intense hike, and that is the honest to goodness truth.
So you might be a tad surprised that this Thursday....
