Warm Spring and Soft Dramatic
Long time I had no practice of English skills, so .. sorry for my language mistakes=)
I decided to write this post in English because the beautiful lady about whom I'm going to tell you, speaks English and also because I want to tell something about human coloring and lines people who don't speak Russian.
Unfortunately, a lot of people all over the world simply don't understand the principles, that lie under the theories of color and line, they try to mix style (in other words "image identity" which is mostly psychological issue ) and color or style and lines. This approach is absolutely useless. In reality your coloring and your lines (body shape, bone structure, facial features) are inherited , they don't depend on your state of mind or psychology.
I reagard personal style as a three-step way, First step is dertermination of coloring. Coloring depends on the theory of color and on the optics. So it is absolutely scientific, and there can't be such approaches as "I can understand your coloring by your voice". The next step is determination of lines. Lines of the body are also based on science - it's geometry. So are all the creatures in the world, including humans. Lines also has nothing to do with your image identity. Image identity is the last step. It comes form the inside - it's you way of thinking, it's your essence. Here you can speak about your personality, flowers, animals and fairy tales you associate yourself with and so on... Your lines and colors have their own associations, but they NEVER determine your personal style completely.
Today I'm going to tell you about Angele who is Warm Spring (Warm and Bright) and Soft Dramatic. All the information I will write on both languages - English and Russian.

First of all, I want to revise the theory of color for you. All colors in the world including human coloring can be described using three characteristics: value (light colors are mixed with white, deep or dark colors are mixed with black), saturation (bright or clear colors are mostly pure, soft colors are mixed with grey), hue and color undertone (cool colors are colors with blue undertone, warm colors are with golden undertone).
The dominant characteristic of coloring is the most important, the secondary characteristic helps to make the palette more accurate, the third characteristic is less important and usually doesn't play important role in determining the person's coloring.

To determine if the color suits person or not we should look on the draping.
We have six dominant characteristics of colors.
Looking at Angele's photos it's obvious that she's not cool - she can wear very warm colors. Like this golden beige or like grass green, for example.
Напоминаю, что колорит определяется по характеристикам цвета. Любой цвет можно описать тремя характеристиками : светлый - темный, яркий - мягкий, теплый - холодный. По фото Анжелы понятно, что колорит у нее не холодный - ей идут очень теплые цвета.
Angele isn't soft or bright. She can wear rather bright colors
Она не мягкая и не яркая - она выдерживает довольно яркие цвета,
But not VERY bright - they overwhelm her.
Но не слишком яркие - самые яркие все же доминируют, перетягивают на себя внимание.
Angele isn't deep or light also. Her coloring is medium , between light and dark. She can go deep
Анжела не светлая и не темная, ее колорит средний по темноте, она может носить некоторые темные цвета
But too dark colors look harsh and gloomy on her
но чем ближе к черному, тем более траурно они смотрятся
So, her dominant characteristic is warm. And she looks pretty good in variety of very warm colors.
Остаются теплые колориты, и Анжела действительно хорошо выглядит в теплых цветах
Warm coloring is divided into two palettes - Warm and bright (warm spring) and warm and soft (warm autumn)
Теплыми бывают весна (теплый яркий) и осень (теплый мягкий), как вы помните.
We can see that Angele looks very fresh in bright colors of spring, that Autumn normally can't wear.
Анжеле идут теплые яркие весенние цвета, которые осень носить не может.
And softer colors of Warm autumn looks earthy and harsh, because they lack brightness, necessary for Angele.
А теплые осенние мягкие цвета смотрятся землистыми - нет в них нужной яркости.
Another form of draping is draping with palettes. Here we can also see, that Angele's coloring harmonise mostly with warm spring palette.
При подстновке ее фото в палитры тоже видно, что теплая весна очень гармонична.
So, Angele is Warm Spring.
Соответственно, Анжела - теплая весна
This palette is associated with the joy of life, youthfulness, fresh energy and spring meadows with colorful flowers of different kinds. The palette is rather bright and flirty.
Эта палитра ассоциируется с жизнерадостностью, юностью, энергией, свежестью и весенним лугом с яркими цветами. Палитра довольно женственная, яркая и игривая.
I usually disprove some of the myths about human coloring in every post like this. In Angele's case I'd rahter talk about lines.
И тут наступает время теории. Обычно я рассказываю о каких-то тонкостях , связанных с цветом, но сегодня хочу поговорить о линиях.
After David Kibbe's "Methamorphosis" we all know about yin and yang. Unfortunately , Mr Kibbe doesn't tell his readers and clients, that all the line types are based on geometry. Dramatic lines are prolongates angles, romantic lines are curles, classic lines are ovals and rombs, natural lines are soft angled squares and rectangles and gamines are small angles and circles.So let it be my "Know-how " in line analysis=)
В сообществе я много говорила о том, что теории линий - это ТОЛЬКО геометрия, никакой психологии, но практика работы с клиентами и переписки с читателями показывает, что многие люди пока это так и не поняли. Очень часто люди зависывают себя в желаемый типаж, который им кажется эффектным, а на самом деле, в их внешности даже близко ничего нет. Поскольку господин Кибби все же сливает в описаниях стиль и линии в одну категорию, и не упоминает геометрию, я буду считать эти наработки своим ноу хау и основой моей теории линий =))
When we look at Angele , what can we see? She definitely has yang bone structure - she has sharp angles in her eyes, lips, nose and chin. She has beautiful dramatic cheekbones. At the same time she is rather feminine, gentle - she has big eyes, full lips, rounded cheekbones (i.e. curles, circles). That means she's probably a combination of yin and yang features. She's not a Gamine, because her features are not so contrasting, so she can be Theatrical Romantic of Soft Dramatic. Yang bone structure is more dominant in her than romantic softness, do she is Soft Dramatic. Unfortunalely I have no pictures of Angele's body shape - I have seen it on the yuku forims, but even the face is enough to determine the right path=) And this Soft dramatic doesn't mean that Angele is "Diva" and very passionate and strong person - all those characterisctics are psychological and don't influence the lines that suit her.
Если посмотреть на фото Анжелы, даже не имея перед глазами ее фигуры, можно определить примерное направление движения. У нее явная янская костная структура - острые уголки губ, глаз, носа. Заостренный подбородок. Драматические скулы. В то же время округлые щеки, крупные глаза, полные губы - явное влияние романтика. Лицо рельефное, что характерно для сочетания инь - ян. такое бывает у гаминов, театрального романтика и софт драматика. Она явно не гамин - нет столкновения округлостей и остроты. Для театрального романтика она слишком янская - слишком хорошо видно структуру драматика. Соответственно, она - софт драматик.
To prove that Kibbe's system and all the others work on this princyple of geometry I'll put Angele's photo in the Soft Dramatic Celebrity collage - she looks perfect here. She belongs here not because she has the same state of mind as those women had. She only has the same facial features and yin-yang balance in her appearance. That's so easy, folks! And speaking about "vibes" and personality is only mystification =) Vibes and personality determine image identity, and soft dramatic body is about lines, not image=)
Это хорошо видно, и если подставить ее фото в коллаж со звездами - представительницами Софт Драмы- она прекрасно вписывается. Не потому что у нее характер "дивы", а потому что у нее черты лица такие же как них. Тут все очень просто и очень логично. Не нужно усложнять и разводить мистику, ища "энергии" или обращать внимание на характер. Характер будет играть роль в определении стиль персоны, а не в определении фасонов.
