John was more than a little drunk and leaning heavily on McKay by now. The bar had been an ultimate success and he was so excited to start appointing people to help him... and have a place to escape. And his new friendship with Keller was blossoming; going great even. Rodney didn't seem to like that aspect of it. John had to admit he enjoyed the jealousy. Enjoyed any show that Rodney liked him amongst the man's cruel nature. In fact, John just enjoyed attention, especially from Rodney and that's really all there was to it.
"I hope you at least had a little fun," he announced, pinching a finger together for 'little', his voice just a little high.
He stumbled into Rodney's quarters, and just stared at the man in front of him. What was it that was so attractive about McKay... His assertiveness to the point of arrogance? Beady eyes and that Canadian twang that annoyed him no end? Fumbling fingers that drove him wild... A geeky sense of humor he could pretend not to understand...
Rodney was forgiving, and that was all he needed. He just needed forgiveness, and soft lips. He blinked a few times, realizing Mckay had been saying something - not that it was at all new to miss it, but he tuned in even so.
