John waltzed in, loafers, distressed jeans and belt, white button-up and navy jacket from toe to neck.. He could've been someone's dad, but at least he looked good. He turned to Keller and grinned, strolling in a few minutes late as per John's plan

Daniel was still on his happy little school boy high. If anyone could hear into his mind right now it would scream 'I'M IN ATLANTIS WOO HOO'. And he's spent most of the day looking through databases and exploring parts of the city. To him the party was a good start to his visit to Atlantis, and hopefully this would be the first trip of many.

Heading into the bar he smiled at what they had done. The name was perfect and...he was still more than a little excite about it all. Glancing around he headed to the bar and leaned up against it. It was a great spot to see people as they came in.

"Hey, Jackson, what can I do ya for?" he asked from behind the bar, shaking the brand of beer they had drank together on Earth.

[sneezing_sg1]

"One of those will do just nicely," he said with a smile. "This is a little different from the last time we had a drink together."

"Just a bit," he said with a wink, popping the tab and passing the bottle over to Daniel.

"Enjoying your stay so far?"

[sneezing_sg1]

"More than you could imagine." He grinned like a child, "So are we getting you this side of the bar at all? I was thinking a possible rematch."

[colonelinblack]

"Hey, my bar, remember. I can drink from this side." He gestured to the small row of empty bottles behind him.

"Pick your poison and we'll slam down."

Daniel looked at the bottles behind the bar before looking at John, "Got anything from the locals here?"

"Oh.. is that the way you wanna play it?" he asked with a chuckle, pulling a decent-sized bottle of some amber liquid from beneath the bar.

"The best from New Athos." He pulled down two shot glasses and shot Daniel a meaningful look.

"While in Rome," he said with a smile and reached for the shot glass, "Bottoms up." And with that he knocked the shot straight back.

"Or Greece," he corrected, downing his own with a smirk.

"If you're going to be that literal," he said with a smile after setting down his glass. "You've got a pretty date John, I'm assuming Vala and Sam did well on the dress?"

"Thanks... You tell me. I think they did damn good," he said appreciatively, eyes sliding over to size Jennifer up.

"She's quite the knock out in that dress," he said as he leaned against the bar and looked over at Jennifer, "I'm sure there are a few people here wishing they were you, but then the same could be said about her."

He took a drink of his beer, "So," he leaned in an spoke under his breath, "How much trouble are you going to be in because of her?"

He opened another Bud, shrugging; trying to appear aloof.

"It'll be fine..."

"Right, because someone never holds grudges." He glanced back towards Jennifer before looking at John, "So are the two of you going to be stuck behind there all night or will you be joining us?"

[colonelinblack]

"I'll be out on the floor in a while.." he said, snapping his gaze away from his fellow bartender.

"Gonna save a dance for me, handsome?"
