John had just finished a little heart-to-heart breakfast time with Teyla and he was about to leave.. when he spotted the to-go cups and shrugged, waving goodbye to one of his best friends. God, he had missed everyone. He was never leaving like that again.

John knocked on the doorframe and poked his head in, noting Rodney was asleep at his desk. He must've really missed the lab. Probably about as much as John had missed Ronon and Teyla. Smiling softly to himself, he pulled a chair up to Rodney's desk and set the black coffee down, crossing his legs and sipping at his own.
