(no subject)
Man, I've ignored this thing for a while. Not quite sure why, as I usually read it a few times a day. I guess it's mainly because there's really not much going on to report. Just been working as usual, but haven't been going out too much as most of my free time has been hijacked by World of Warcraft. In the long run, though, it's been saving money because I haven't been going out and drinking lately.
I got my W-2, which rocks. I did my taxes real quick at lunch yesterday and it turns out that I'm getting a good chunk of change back from the government. Not sure what I'm going to do with the money, because before I even think about it I'm sure I'll have found something to spend the money on. I could always put it towards getting a new TV for the living room. I know that the prices for plasma and LCD TV's have dropped considerably in the past 6 months, and for some reason it just seems like playing some drinking baseball on an HDTV is a really good idea.
I recently joined the LJ channel
abandonedplaces and it has rekindled my interest into urban exploration. Quite a lot of the posts are from Russia, but good lord, there are some neat looking areas. It'd be tough to do that where I am now in Florida since all the land down here has been built on. Plus, this isn't really much of an area where there are a lot of old, abandoned warehouses and factories. One day I'll still make it up to Centralia, PA. That's the ultimate goal, isn't it?

I need a vacation. Not that anything bad is going on, but I just need some time off. Maybe I'll take a long weekend in a few weeks. It'd just be so nice to relax for a few extra days. But for now, I should get back to work. I guess.
