SHUT UP YOU JUST HAVE AWESOME TASTE

It thrills me to no end to hear that I was able to do justice to Chris and Toby. They remain some of my favorite characters I've ever encountered, and I've been longing to take them out for a spin, so to speak. Megamind was the perfect excuse! Because seriously, when I see a prison in ANY context, my brain goes straight back to Oz. Even if that context involves an orphaned blue alien baby, apparently. XD

Giving "the Talk" was a great way to contrast Beecher's cautiousness with Keller's recklessness, haha. Toby has to fuss around trying to find the most delicate way to do something--- Chris blunders straight through. No use beating around the bush!

Yeahhhhh, this limbo universe was pretty much shameless self-indulgence as far as giving those two a happily ever after. T__T I dunno, when you watch the hospital clip that I have linked in the author's notes--- when you see the way they smile when they see each other--- it's hard not to wish things could have been different.

Heh, I'm glad that poor little Megz didn't get completely drowned out by those guys! It's tough to get a feel for him since he never speaks in the flashbacks--- I did what I could to de-age the Megamind we know and love, haha.
